Fun Find: Frozen Frenzy WDW Edition

It's time for another edition of Fun Find Friday!  I wanted to take a quick break from my trip recaps to share some of my Frozen finds from the Walt Disney World Resort while I was there in October.  My original Frozen Frenzy post was pretty popular so I thought I'd do a follow up with resort specific finds!

The first Frozen thing I saw at Disney this trip were tons of Anna, Elsa and Olaf balloons as I walked down Main Street at the Magic Kingdom.  They are really pretty with a shimmery holographic design.

If you're looking for Frozen experiences, of course there's the Anna and Elsa meet and greet in Fantasyland.  Be warned- it's a long wait!  (It was 100 minutes when I was there.) Instead, I took a photo outside with my tank and Happily Ever Hatter ear headband.

You can also see Anna and Elsa in the Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom. I love how Anna has her coronation gown on.  I wish you could meet her like that!

If you want to dive into the world of Frozen, there are two places to get a great experience.  The first is Wandering Oaken's Trading Post (and Frozen Snowground). You can go play in real snow at the "snowground" or you can walk around Wandering Oaken's.  There is a ton of Frozen merchandise there in the store.  There are subtle touches from the movie like a door for the sauna with Oaken's family inside.  Outside the store, you can see Olaf's flower and footprints in the snow.

The other location to feel like you're in the movie is of course Norway at the World Showcase in Epcot.  Norway also has a lot of Frozen merchandise.  You can see some Frozen stuff inside the Stave church.  They even sell a few Frozen sweets at the bakery!

Speaking of sweets, I'm in love with the Olaf candy apples and marshmallow pops.  I saw them at numerous locations while on my trip.  I took these photos at Goofy's Candy Company in Downtown Disney.  Yum!!!

There were a few other things I found at Downtown Disney.  In Arribas Brothers they had new blue glass bowls and vases with snowflakes on them.  There was also a glass Olaf pendant.  Finally, I found an etched glass Olaf!

The Disney Pin Trader store had a ton of Frozen pins.  I have this one and it's my favorite design.  Eliot's going to make it into a necklace for me.  (Much like his other Snowblade Creations pin designs.)

Of course, there are a ton of window displays in Downtown Disney.  I found these Frozen inspired windows at the World of Disney Store.

While you're walking around Downtown Disney, you'll also see Frozen ad displays.

If Disney's marketing and subliminal messages make you want to buy more Frozen "gear", you can find a lot of things at MouseGears in Epcot.  They had toys, dolls, plush, pens, DVDs, CDs, magic wands and more.

Don't forget the Frozen Christmas ornaments, snacks, cell phone cases, and earrings.

While in MouseGears, I also found a ton of childrens shirts.

There were also mens Olaf shirts.  I almost bought one for Eliot, but I behaved myself.

If you're looking for womens Frozen shirts, you'll have to go to the World of Disney in Downtown Disney or Wandering Oaken's.

Another way to accessorize with Frozen is on your MagicBands.  They have a special Olaf, Anna and Elsa design that's already printed onto the MagicBand.  I was seriously tempted, but I still behaved… for now.

Finally, my personal favorite Frozen find were the Anna and Elsa Christmas Shoe Ornaments.  I have a severe weakness for Disney holiday items and the princess shoe ornaments are a favorite of mine.  I did not get them this trip.  However, they are on my list of things to keep an eye out for during our January trip!

Whew!  That's a lot of Frozen stuff!  Walt Disney World as certainly beefed up their Frozen merchandise since I was there in January and I did my other WDW Frozen experiences post.    If you're looking for the best places for Frozen items- Norway, MouseGears and Wandering Oaken's have the most merchandise.  (As of October 2014.)  I can't wait to see what I find when we're there in January 2015!!!  °o°
